Lead Designer at J&R
J&R is a family owned electronics company in downtown NYC. JR.com sells products throughout the US and abroad.
As an in-house designer you are expected to wear many hats. I began at J&R in 2007 as a Junior Web Designer working mostly on email campaigns promoting weekly sales. As I became more experienced, I began to take on more long term projects, such as defining the company's branding styleguide. In 2010, I was promoted to Lead Web Designer. Above is a selection from the 2011 Christmas campaign. Other projects include:
2010 Redesign
for JR.com
Lead designer for JR.com's redesign. Worked with Creative Director and met weekly with VP of J&R. After visual mocks were approved, worked with Developers to implement - assisting with coding styles (css).
